TLDR: set store to location with new model in stock for pickup.

I have just picked up mine today.
Since no one has posted, this is what seems to be going on.

New model m12 circular saw was released, in order to clear out old inventory, the old saw has a sale (very common)

To keep things simple, they won't keep 2 product pages up soo they linked the new saw to the point to the current saws page which isn't best but there it is, this should change when stores get the new model saw in stock. So if you're store hasn't gotten the updated model, it won't be an easy time getting the new one for old price. So solution: go pick up at store which already has the new saw before this gets fixed.

OLD MODEL: 2530-20
NEW MODEL; 2521-20

Easiest way to visually eyeball it is probably the new one has a black guard instead of grey.

When I use a circular saw I usually frame something and then sheathe it. I doubt this will rip very much 3/4 ply. I'm 18V+ for my home tools. M12 for mechanic tools.

I'm curious on thoughts on this M12 versus a Ryobi 5 1/2 saw.

I imagine the M12 is higher quality and is brushless, but the power wise which would have the advantage?

I've never seen so many cancelled orders with a Milwaukee item at Home Depot. Like, inside my head I'm like, "this sounds like a Northern Tool promo......(and all that that implies)"

Anyhoo, I ordered one of these amazing little 5 3/8 saws this morning, mostly out of curiosity, and will update if I actually am able to get it. This is super weird since Home Depot almost always has systems in place to deal with new model upgrades and different model numbers and sku numbers and I've not seem them make such a mess of a new model upgrade before.
Also, to be clear, I don't actually know what I am talking about. I just sound like it from time to time. Total accident. Smilie Home Depot has ALWAYS taken good care of me.
Regardless, thanks Slickers! I appreciate this community even though I spend more money than I should as a result! Wink

UPDATE: 10:15am - Received email that the saw is ready to pick up. Will update at 12pm PST. zipcode - 97303

UPDATE #2: 2:00pm PST - I was surprised that I was able to pick up the m12 circular saw and it was the correct 2521-20 model. So, I feel lucky it worked out for me. Best of luck to everyone! (I got a downvote. So, if I did something wrong, please feel free to let me know) Smilie

I've had this happen several times, they just go to the floor location and when they can't find it they cancel.

Usually I'll head to the store, check the upper bays, and after 5 mins I'll find more stock than they even had listed.

Just ask a rep to get it down, head to the self checkout.

I ordered this last night for pickup from my closest Home Depot and the pickup confirmation email hadn't come by late this morning. I got nervous seeing all of the cancelation posts so, to be safe, I ordered another from the next closest store that had it in stock. An hour later I had pickup confirmations from both stores. Anyone know if I should call the online number or store number to cancel the one I am not picking up?
