In for a i13 black 128gb. Thanks OP. I called 611 and confirmed SC account eligibility; however, rep said i13 is OOS, and only SE3 was available, which I have no interest in. Rep instructed me to try ordering via Tmo app which worked. $35 device connection charge was net waived after rep confirmed order and placed $35CR on my acct.

Can I trade any Iphone 7 or does it have to be one that is actively being used on my account?
I traded in an iphone 6 through Costco that had been laying in a drawer. They ask what line go you want to upgrade, I just picked one of my lines, but then said I would be trading in a different phone than what is listed on that line. No problem. Again, this was using Costco, 833-428-1765

The $315 credit is doled out over 24 months, not all at once.
Thank you for clarifying for me The rep, though super helpful (and boy, did he try upselling protection plans, cases, HK speaker, etc., he was nice when I refused the add-ons) wasn't real clear on credit and how it would be applied. Thank you.

TMo site says $50/mo for the 15 Pro Max. Looks like they're not currently offering any deals for trading in your SE2. Monthly credits are pretty easy: every month you own the device, you get $x dollars off of the payment. So for this iPhone 13 deal, you'd pay the sales tax on the full price, and any activation costs, then you'd pay about $13/month + service on that line (because the other ~$13/mo is the credit you'll get for 24 consecutive months).
do you think buying an unlocked one and paying full price is better than trading in or buying it Tmobile?

It says any condition. Does it have to power on? My iPhone 6 doesn't power on but IMEI number is written on the back of the phone

This is funny, they're offering $315 trade in credit for very old iPhone models. I'd like to upgrade my old iPhone 12 since the battery is shot, however I'm ineligible for this deal.

The rep I talked to over the phone says it doesn't need to power on.

Just replace battery through Apple then instead, cheaper than paying over $350 on top of trade in for small incremental difference.

So for those who have done this through Costco in warehouse :

Can you choose betwee paying full price and doing the EIP?

- as in can you just pay outright for the phone, and get the $315 monthly credits towards your bill + 100 Costco card

Any advantages to doing it in warehouse vs the Costco T-mobile sales department?

Just did this over the phone using Costco. Traded in iphone 6 32 gb. Went pretty easy. As it was explained to me, I had to pay tax right now on full price of phone. You finance the entire price of phone, but on bill, you get a one time credit of $315, then pay rest of $315 on payment plan. At least that was my understanding. You also get a $100 Costco card for the trade-in. If this is not correct (the Tmobile $315 credit, etc.), I will just return it before activating. I had an old iphone 6 in drawer and figured this may be the last chance trade it in. They did tell me I had 90 days to return, but I never trust that.

Also saved the $35 activation going through Costco.
Any particular phone number you called to speak with Costco? Thanks
