Initial release is with A17 Pro chip in iPhone and M1 or above in iPad/Mac. This phone has A15 Bionic chip, so no not initially but could get support later next year hopefully.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Apple announced even the possibility of support for older processors. And they definitely do not have a habit of adding the latest features to processors older than those announced to support those features. This is the company that last year finally introduced the ability set charging threshold at 80% for the iPhone, but only the latest generation (15), and then did the same with iPad this year (6th gen iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro).

So for those who have done this through Costco in warehouse :

Can you choose betwee paying full price and doing the EIP?

- as in can you just pay outright for the phone, and get the $315 monthly credits towards your bill + 100 Costco card

Any advantages to doing it in warehouse vs the Costco T-mobile sales department?
has to be bill credits
you can pay off the device afterwards but it will still be 24 monthly credits

at Costco, they waive the $35 per line device connection fee or whatever it's called

I have been with TM for over a decade and have the Select Choice FAM UNL TT 50 and do not see this discount and shows full price. Trade in value shown for iPhone 11 is a meager $85.

Just did this at Costco, but wasn't waived the device connection fee, I was told they now only waive it for new line, not for the upgrade.

Give it a billing cycle or two. Let the promo credits start to work. Then you can pay it off to unlock. Once paid off the device promo credits switch over to line credits.

Thanks for the update.
I know there is a box they have to check off. Maybe others who did it at Costco in store can chime in if they have the same experience

I wonder if calling the order in gets it waived

I was calling this morning, and there is no device connection fee. Only tax was charged.

The guy who helped me said there should be a box to check to waive the fee, he then asked another guy, seems more senior, the guy said no. He said that was what the manager told him. Not sure if there is some kind of misunderstanding. I still did the trade in anyway.

Did it at Costco in store and the fee was not charged. I got an txt that the phone I was trading was valued for $0 credit but three people said to give it time after they receive it. The Costco doesn't have stock and the guy had to try a few dozen times until it came back in stock.
