(my i6 is perfect as it has been in the closet so no issues when they asked these questions)
i went through costco phone -- they tried to sell other things and have to listen to their speech but declined. got confirmation that promotion applied via text today.
The promotion, and not the EIP, needs to be active before July 1st if you want to keep the credits and pay it off early. Considering the usual disclaimer of "allow 2-3 billing cycles" for the promotion to appear on your bill, I would stay away from this promo and not risk it.
