Seems like there are a lot of deals popping up on these Gen 2 models. I'm assuming they are working to clear out stock with the gen 3 version available? Doesn't seems like there would be any reason to keep both versions around as the differences are fairly minor... what's the consensus on whether the price keeps falling over the summer?

Do you know what the differences are between generations? I'm more interested in the attachment-capable trimmer but once again can't really tell the gen 1, 2, 3 difference based on item description alone. Something about either the gen 2 or gen 3 attachment-capable version having a cooling fan?
