I was waiting for this deal for the last 2 months and settled for the Sam's Club LG C3 $1499 deal that I had to hunt down and pickup 100+ miles away.

I work at Costco, these are definitely, coming down in price. How far, it's hard to tell. I did see the Samsung NeoQled 85" , ($2400), last 2 out the door for $1000 each. we have many LG C3, 55", 65", and Samsung 65" OLED which will get cleared out.. All costco's are not the same in their pricing down.
