This is the first battery powered/Argus Reolink camera I've used, but I've been beta testing one for the past month and liked it enough that I'm buying another one. I think they'd make great temp setup (campsite/RVing, etc) cameras if you have a hotspot nearby.

You can also get rich picture notifications from all Reolink cameras using SMTP email notification + the Pushbullet app, which has made a world of difference for me the past month and a half.

One of mine is almost drained, so I'll do a capacity test when I recharge it. It probably uses 18650.

4100mah, so it's probably a a single 21700 cell.

Can this camera record the license plate numbers of a 25 MPH moving car clearly? I want to install it above my garage door which faces an ally. I want to be able to record any car license plate that may be cruising on our ally ways.

Uhh, it's only 15fps, so it'd depend on how close you are to the ally way... You'd need to be pretty close due to its wide field of view. I had mine out by the street 15' in for awhile... I can check and see if I can read plates later.
