That's why they don't prep the drinks in front of you; only blend them. They pour a LOT of white sugar into every smoothie, or equally sugary fruit juice and/or sherbet and then market it as healthy. And some exec made the genius decision a few years ago to do away with their Splenda substitution option, around the same time they did away with any good coupons and promos. I haven't been back since. Wendy's has healthier options and far better deals (and that's not saying much); a jr. frosty has less sugar and more protein than a small one of these smoothies.
Jamba small is 16oz (like a grande at Starbucks)

Maybe ask for no added sugar? I make fruit smoothies at home without adding sugar and it tastes good. Adding sugar masks the natural taste of the fruit. Same with fruit jam. I've been buying the 50% less sugar variety jam and I think it's a lot better because I can taste the actual fruit more. Now I can't go back to the full sugar variety it's just way too sweet.

I remember in the late 90s every suburban housewife and teen frequented Smoothie King, Jamba Juice, Tropical Smoothie.
Now I don't know anyone who goes regularly.
I might go to an airport location occasionally when traveling but that's about it.
