These old movies benefit far more than the latest digital superhero CGI-fest. Even the black-and-white movies are a revelation. Universal did a spectacular job. They even fixed the color fringing on Rope from the 3-color Technicolor strips not being perfectly aligned in earlier scans. I'm speaking about the actual actual 4K Blu-rays, though. I have no idea how much bitrate the digital copies get. Some of that glorious film grain might get smudged away if they're stingy with the file size.

All UHD and all-time lows. Guess I can finally get Birds, Psycho, and torn on Rear Window or Vertigo. 🤔

It's not 3 for $9.99, it is choice 3 (all these movies) for $9.99, correct?

Never mind, after purchase, you select 3 movies

If you bought on iTunes, you wouldn't.

But if you did D2D on Vudu, you have to rebuy which is why I could go back in time and tell myself not to waste any money on D2D.

Is UHD a noticible difference when the movies are this old?

"I hear..."

If "they" do the process correct, they get the original film and scan each frame in the higher resolution. Then, there are those that cheat and then just upscale the movie (the F&F series, for example).

So, the question now is: 'do we rebuy at this incredible deal? Or, its not worth it??'. I think I'm going save money here and not re-buy. Still, *I* have no idea, hence my hesitation to just re-buy.

70th anniversary of Rear Window this year. It's going to be in theaters for a limited run later this summer. Looking forward to it!

Edit: never mind had to reconnect again and relink all and works now
