Great price, stayed overnight in RI for $800 a night last week 😂
I was RI last week too. $800 a night would have been an intentional decision lol. There were plenty of rooms at very nice hotels such as aloft available for far cheaper.

AYYYyyyyOOOOO! If anyone wants to stay in NYC, I'll only charge $600 for 3 nights. I live in a VERY nice part of Brooklyn, super close to the harbor and ferry terminal, and two blocks from the subway.. takes about 30 min to get into the city by train and I have several bikes you can use to run around. Free breakfast too! I'll even let you use my unlimited metro card. I have 8 ferry passes too. Hmu!😂😂
I will ping next time when we plan for a vacation

That's what happens when you have Mayors like DeBlasio and Eric Adams… Adams just makes things up, and poses all day every day for photo ops…. That' is the actual truth…

Typical Midwesterner response 🙄
Or someone who is aware of what has happened to NYC over the last 4 years. Used to be great to visit. Like SF, the city is overrun with crime and homelessness.

NYC is a culture city? Tokyo, Seoul, Phukhet, Brisbane, Wellington are cities without the urban decay and gross neglect that is now NYC. sad but true.

Oh we're going International? Yes there is a big world full of great clean cities. The complaints here make it seem as if it's a below average american city, if all we can do is a list of a few cities worldwide than I don't think it's the shithole it's made out to be. And yes, art-food-live music-nightlife-diversity, that all apart of culture

Same with LA, arguably worse. Don't understand why the tourism and fascination with these places unless you're very wealthy, like 10 million+ net worth wealthy.
At least LA County has nice beaches (albeit Orange County has better ones), New York has sewers.

We spent a week in Manhattan and stayed at Midtown for spring break. Our children are pretty active and they can eat. We ate 4-6 meals a day and had a blast bicycling through town.

We didn't have a problem with the homelessness or dirtiness anymore than any other major US city so I'm having difficulty understanding what the fuss is about.

If you have a chance and love food, bicycling, museums, and libraries. NYC is darn great.
