But isn't this the same as apple accessories having limited functionality on Android?

I don't understand why people using iPhone come to look at and comment on Samsung deals. It is iOS that made the restrictions to use only their devices. Better stick with Airpods when you are a Apple user.

That apart these are very good for online meetings via computer. They pair very well and noise cancelation is excellent. Recently slack huddles have been bit difficult with volume going low. Slack and Samsung should work to make it better.

I can confirm this price in Dallas metroplex as of Tuesday.

Just checked my local target and it was only 50% off, coming up to $115 pretax which isn't slick. The employee said it won't go any lower and this is the final price.

70% off to $69 is slick, but $115 is not. Guess I lucked out.

Do you mind sharing the zip for the store where you bought them. Thank you.
Looks like it is in-store-only for the 70% and this discount is only in some stores,

Whelp, these are going back right away. They won't pair with my TV. They are only discoverable by my phone and PC.
There's an issue with your TV. I have no problem connecting them to my LG android TV, chromecast tv, amazon fire tv, ... . They have this convenient multi-point connect, where you don't have to disconnect them from your phone for them to be discovered and connected to your tv ( you can't stay connected to two devices simultaneously but it makes switching very smooth)

Scored the last one in Rancho San Diego.

Listed on shelf at $116, but rang up at $69.

FWIW, i got a pair for my s24 ultra. I am just not into these compared to airpods pro. Plus the giant bulb shape doesn't fit in my earlobe well, I've had them fall out twice and spent 10+ minutes looking in shrubs for them.

The "pinging noise" isn't loud enough. You need near silence to hear it. So good luck in a high traffic area or windy day.
You can (and actually should) buy memory foam tips for them. Good ones go for 10$ and are night and day difference in terms of comfort as well as improving noise cancellation. I actually dropped one at a busy bus stop and did manage to find it but I agree it wasn't a straightforward search (because ofc it dropped into some strange barely visible crack...). Pinging helped.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just head to customer service in the front of the store. I had a $20 target circle discount that I forgot to scan. It was even the same day and they were able to return and rebuy with the $20 discount.

I just wanted to let you know that the issue of connectivity with Samsung Galaxy Buds2 and Buds2 Pro are widely known, and the culprit/reason is also known.

Connectivity issues occur when trying to pair the earbuds to iPhones, Microsoft Surface laptops, Lenovo laptops, certain TV models, and older Android phones.

The reason is that the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro use Bluetooth LE to establish a first-pairing connection, rather than the standard Bluetooth protocol. Certain devices, such as the ones listed above, will only pair over standard Bluetooth chips/protocols. Bluetooth LE uses a different protocol. iPhones, Surface, Lenovo, and other devices do not pair via Bluetooth LE. They may be able to recognize the existence of a device using Bluetooth LE, but their handshaking protocol doesn't go over LE. Therefore, even if you can see the device listed in your software settings, your device may never pair to the Buds2 or Buds2 Pro. It also depends on the firmware of the buds, as Samsung had promised that they would fix this issue and also expand the usage of BLE with updates.

If someone complains that their device cannot pair to the Buds2 or Buds2 Pro, I wouldn't blame their device. Bluetooth LE was introduced with Bluetooth 4.0, but it only recently gained widespread support from manufacturers and developers on Bluetooth 5.2 and Bluetooth 5.3.

Do you remember when Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.2 co-existed? We had hundreds of devices with issues where a customer would say, "I have Bluetooth, but this other Bluetooth device doesn't work on it!" It was because they were using a Bluetooth 2.0 or 3.0 receiver and the device they bought was a 4.2, and not everything was backwards compatible. Now, here we are, with Samsung utilizing a feature set that most other engineers don't use. History repeats itself.

My battery base & buds were very low... They are likely aging out old product
