But isn't this the same as apple accessories having limited functionality on Android?
That apart these are very good for online meetings via computer. They pair very well and noise cancelation is excellent. Recently slack huddles have been bit difficult with volume going low. Slack and Samsung should work to make it better.
I can confirm this price in Dallas metroplex as of Tuesday.
70% off to $69 is slick, but $115 is not. Guess I lucked out.

That is why your AirPods work on Samsung phones is because SAMSUNG doesn't block anything or have restricted APIs. Apple has restricted interfaces that only work with Apple products.
you should try reading the Apple developer contract sometime. and see how draconian and restrictive they are about what you're allowed to do with compatible products they control everything.
I use Samsung Buds Plus on my iPhone/Mac. Samsung has an app on the iOS App Store that allows adjusting parameters on the Samsung buds (Ambient Sound toggles/sensitivity, battery levels, EQ mode, touch controls, Lost mode, etc). Samsung could update their apps to allow pairing and control of their newer buds but they refuse to.
Other manufacturers have apps to control settings for their earphones/buds, Bose/Sony/Sonos/Soundcore/Skullcandy.
This is not an Apple restriction. Samsung just wants you to use Samsung phones to "unlock" full features of their devices.

The only thing I don't like is where you have to tap to do the volume change.

Sadly, Target online said all 3 colors are sold out near Irvine, California.
