there is nothing with buying two of those, right?
i have stackable space in my basement and i am afraid each load would take too long
the other reason 2 "makes sense" could be you can have white detergent in one and black/colors in the other auto loading.

TLDR from this, avoid this Samsung model, and most in general for washer and dryers

Allstate 3 Years (For Major Appliances $1000 to $2000)
Your Appliances are covered from mechanical and electric failures from normal use during years 3-5
Item 1051901
$119.99
Yep, best investment possible, regardless of brand. Costco makes getting a 5 year long warranty very affordable given they cover years 1 and 2 then the 3-5 is discounted pretty good thanks to the sale price and costco just not being jerks about it.

Thank you OP!
Just ordered one. Costco gives 2 year extended warranty, making it a steal 😊
so ive read this so many times on slickdeals that i just took this for granted that it means "2 years on top of whatever manufacturer offers"

however recently, i actually ran into this situation and that's not at all what that 2 year warranty means. I called their warranty service and they explained that Costco provides an extension of manufacturers warranty up to a max of 2 years. Meaning if manufacturer offers 2 years, costco doesn't offer anything extra; but if manufacturer offers only 1 year, then you get 1 extra year from costco.

extremely disappointing but it makes way more sense that what the comments here implied.

Can someone who hasn't used the Costco Spend and Save coupon discount yet:

1. Add this Samsung washer/dryer combo to their cart
2. Add the extended warranty: https://www.costco.com/.product.1051901.html
3. Add this item: https://www.costco.com/lg-6.0-cu....86754.html

Does Costco take $600 off the total price or just $400?

Thanks.

Yes, thus is a totally different thing. Someone who buys this is buying it for different other reasons, also, such as uses less energy and no need to transfer loads from washer to dryer.
Yeah my ADHD leads to me not consistently moving over and often having to rewash things, sometimes multiple times. a Set it and forget it no move system would be game changing...

The GE one is only 2.4 cu ft, half the size.
The GE is 4.8 cu ft, LG is 5.0 cu ft, Samsung is 5.3 cu ft. I'm not sure about the Samsung one yet but the GE is better than the LG at dry time and possibly long term maintenance on the heat pump components due to it's larger size. The LG is quieter, standard height, and the app is better (like a lot). I'm very curious about this one though.

I have two of the LG units side by side since the lint tray is on top. I would love 2x stacked vertically.

I don't think the extended warranty counts toward the deal. You would get a total of $500 off - $400 for it being over $2,000 original price and extra $100 for buying 2 appliances that qualify. The extended warranty pushes it over $2,500 but that doesn't make it qualify for the $600 off $2,500 deal.

Long story short: the Samsung will fail. It lets lint through the trap.
All 3 let lint through the trap, nature of the beast right now.

It just depends on what program cycle, load size, etc.

I've had this unit since March and we love it. Got some much needed space back in our laundry room. According the SmartThings app, we are using 50% less electricity than our previous washer/dryer combo which was a Samsung pair from 2022.

We mostly use the AI cycle and it's typically 2.5 to 3 hours. We've run the towels mode and it's been as much as 4 hours, bedding mode can be 4.5 hours but you can also run a small load in about 100 minutes.

Correct which is why I said that persons statement was not accurate, they provided zero context and only hurts good discussion. Your results mirror what everyone else is generally getting. Both of my LG units avg 3hours per load with heavy\bulky items taking 4-5h similar to what you stated.
