This is insane, a steal for $1599. I bought it 10 days ago for $2149, will be requesting a price adj.

The unit itself is good, takes up less space than my 17 year old Samsung washer & gas dryer. Each load will take 4-5 hrs usually to complete but you can program it to run overnight to avoid the wait. Smartthings app will tell you when your wash is complete.

I bought a second one, do you know if costco installers have tools to split the plumbing as the house was made for one

So if I replace my washer and dryer with this aio unit, will Costco haul away both appliances for free even though I'm buying 1 appliance?

In for 1. Thank you. After much research since Black Friday decided this was the best AIO. Added the Allstate for years 3-5. $119 for a little extra help.

Does this require washer hookups? I don't have any unfortunately.

How exactly would that work? How will water get into and out of the AIO if you don't have hookups?

Can someone elaborate on this potential rebate? Should I be asking my local energy company? When I entered my zip code on that page, it mentioned something about heat pumps federally and from my energy company, but not sure if it applies to the washer/dryer.

Is this purchase tax deductible or something?
If u go on bestbuy website and search for this unit, there's a link to availability of rebates based on your zip code.from there you should see if the rebate is thru your water provider or electricity provider

They specifically state they don't do any plumbing work in the installation details. They just plug 'n play it. I had mine delivered yesterday and the two guys didn't even level it right. First load it knocked around and I had to pause it and level it properly. I wasn't impressed with Costco delivery. BB delivery guys were much better and thorough when it came to my range. They even delivered my dishwasher into my house when that wasn't part of the deal.

I just got mine delivered yesterday and they took my separate washer and dryer units.

However, they didn't install it for me citing that I hadn't purchased a drain pan. They also threw my old drain pan in the front yard and walked away (no idea why Costco picked these guys).

I went and bought a new drain pan for the unit from Lowe's, but then quickly realized that if that was installed, I wouldn't be able to open the bottom detergent dispensing area.

Does anyone have a drain pan installed with this unit? If not, are you not worried about leaks?

I've been frantically calling Costco and Samsung and they keep giving me new 1-800 numbers but no answers, so any help from this community is appreciated!

Same situation here, got the delivery a couple of days ago, the unit wasn't level right, all 4 adjustment legs were in default shortest position and the machine wobbled due to uneven floor, I had to do the adjustment myself. Went through a couple of loads, so far so good.

p.s. I asked them to haul away my old washer but did decide to keep my old gas dryer for a little bit in case the new Samsung machine doesn't do a good job in drying clothes. But I think I should be able to get rid of the old dryer soon since the drying function of Samsung is pretty good with normal drying setting for 2 loads.

I've had mine for a day now and I love it. It is so very quiet!! You won't hardly hear it agitate or spin unless you are in the room with it. There is a software update and I recommend you do it right away, it changes the UI and it looks and acts so much better. And I think they fixed the 5 hour wash issue. Mine have only been 2.5 - 3.5 hours. And those were big loads and even a large load of towels. On one load it detected "heavy soil" and increased the wash time. My laundry all came out very clean and very dry and hot. The auto door doesn't just pop open, it swings all the way open as well. Lots of things to customize, such as like the sound when everything is done, and you can have the door auto open when you power it on. If you have other devices in the smart things app, it will notify you as well when those devices have alerts.

Do the software update asap. The interface is Android and there is a weather app, Spotify (after the recent software update), a web browser (yes youtube works lol), bixby, smartthings app, a basic Amazon app for reordering supplies, Ring app. It's not that robust and is a bit slow, so don't think you can do much on it, but that was all a nice surprise. It does look like an android tablet installed in the device. The wash details is very nice, letting you know where every thing is at with a progress bar and an estimated end time to the hh:mm. All the stats on energy and water usage per cycle is really neat too.

Based on Ben's Appliances and Junk recommendation, I am cleaning the lint filter after every use and it does build up. I just have my shop vac in that area and I do a quick vacuum of the whole assembly which does break down into three parts and I shove the vacuum end into the slot to suck up anything inside of there, just takes a few minutes every time.

Overall, I'm really happy with it and it's such a convenience.

I doubt it. Got mine delivered yesterday, but i keep my washer in my bathroom and draw water from my sink lines. i detached my old machine and left the hoses so all they had to do was connect and tighten, but they said they couldn't touch because it was not a standard dedicated water line that would be in a laundry room/closet.They also took pics of the sink undercabinet as proof. i think anything other than a straight forward connect is probably too much of a liability for the delivery team. they did do a good job of moving and placing this 300+ lb beast exactly where i wanted it, but hearing other experiences here, looks like that's wholly dependent on the 3rd party delivery company.
