If you buy your tires at Sams and have the plus membership, you get free tire rotations and balancing for the duration of your membership. Twice a year tire rotations for two cars + the food court basically pays for the membership.
It's the same thing as Discount Tire, except you don't have to pay for an additional membership.
I'd rather have the road hazard warranty included with Walmart plus and free tire repairs when applicable along with rotation and balancing for life of tire.
Discount Tire does this, without requiring to pay for a membership.
Bye bye Sam's Club plus membership if that is the case.
I also found out you don't get Sam's Cash on purchases made online. This is a big scam. In order to make our life convenient we pay for the plus membership but will only get cash back accumulated when you shop in store. So not going to renew their plus membership
"and through Curbside Pickup", so looks like you can order online this way.
Sam's Club Plus Members may earn 2% in Sam's Cash, after discounts are applied to items purchased, on qualifying pre-tax purchases directly from Sam's Club made in clubs and through Curbside Pickup. Sam's Club Plus Members do not earn 2% in Sam's Cash from third parties nor for online purchases on SamsClub.com (i.e., direct ship to home or elsewhere, ship from club, delivered to home or elsewhere, etc.).
The consumer is getting squeezed now in every way. With companies going bankrupt due to inflation and higher costs the good deal days are ending.
All this during the strongest economy ever, that's what the WH and the news propagandist says. Don't believe your lying eyes as you are seeing cheap fakes. LOL
I always find it difficult to get discounts on plus membership, any tips?
Usually the best I can do is get a free / cheap regular membership and then pay the $50 to upgrade it.
Sign up with T-Mobile at the club and they'll give you $60 every year to be a Plus member
I just got an email that Sam's Club Plus is bumping up their free shipping threshold to $50 in August. BOO!
Ugh, that ruins it for me. Been using the plus membeship to buy nonperishable foods and paper products as needed. With that shipping minimum I'll rarely meet that for most of my orders. Dropping plus before my renewal...

Free shipping is going up but delivery from store is going to be free with 50 dollar minimum. I can get all my meats and everything without setting foot in that warzone. Even curbside there sucks because people take all the spots to go shopping in store

could this cost them more in the end?
i need a box of diapers ($47). so, that means i need to add an additional item to get the free shipping.
i'll add tp.
then do a return (prepaid label) for the tp when i receive it?
it could backfire with a bunch of returns.
ETA...everyone should check and make sure the "auto renew" if off.
Hard to imagine it not backfiring several ways. If I do renew, I won't be buying shippable items in-store anymore. Screw it. I'll just let them bring it all to my door. Saves me time anyway. Perishable in the store, everything else they can ship. I've never had TP and paper towels shipped. That's going to change on August 19th 2024.
Agreed. However I will point out that no one here has mentioned their $0 Rx maintenance drugs. That alone has easily paid for the Plus membership and then some for my family.
Just throwing that out there for folks to think about that if they aren't already.
Is there a list of Rx maintenance drugs somewhere? That would indeed change things for me if mine are covered.

nearly anyplace you get tires mounted/balanced at come with the same service for free - and if you care what tires you are putting on sam's is the absolutely slowest place i've ever used to order tires. this matters when one is non-repairable and sam's needs 8 days whereas a normal tire shop can usually get anything the next day
if they stock the tire i want that's fine i'll probably save 10% but for anything they don't stock i stay far away from them for tires
