So far so good. I've only used it for ~10 minutes though, to weed-whack and cut off some small branches from a few stumps that had regrown.
No oil is included, so you need to add a few drops along the blade (they have a diagram in the manual). I went with mineral oil as I have a TON of it laying around. If you have bar and chain oil, it'd be cheaper to use that instead. Worst case get yourself some 3-in-ONE oil for $5 at Walmart.
I paid ~$35 for my Fiskars 10 inch compound hedge shears that would be work to use, but would also give more control and can cut things wider than 0.55 inches. This Sun Joe works so well that it has me considering returning the 10 inch hedge shears, because I can always use my lopper or chainsaw to cut thicker limbs.

It works good for my purposes and it's light
These cordless blowers are in general much weaker than corded ones. $100 is too much for this

On a plus side I learned about SimpleLogin [simplelogin.io] trying to create another "new" QVC account for this deal. It's a free alias/forwarding service that's useful when you don't want to reveal your true email address.
If you're going to do the Cheap Basterd Email Shuffle then make sure that you don't use a credit card or Paypal account that's already associated/used with a previous QVC purchase. Nothing bad will happen but the order just won't go through if your payment method has been used before via a separate account...
