This phone has double tap to wake and double tap to sleep!

It's under lockscreen, instead of display, in settings. Very unusual location. Have to scroll to the bottom.

Now it's the perfect phone for me. Have gcam with custom config, and found a usable tempered glass.

I do have an unusual issue unrelated to the phone. After port, calls and texts are still going to the previous carrier (?). Yet this shows as my number on the metro app. Confusing.

I read online that gv ports take a long time.

Last time, it took 27 days for gv port in to complete for me, just 2 days before my plan expires.

what's interesting is that I purchased a Metro Moto G 5G phone in May at WM and when I checked the unlock date, it's 180 days. Not sure if accurate, so will see. It was for a senior family member but went with a flip phone instead.

they have self activation link now you can port out the metro number to any carrier then port it back to Metro. Works on any number even t-mobile.

When you port out, isn't the phone's IMEI tied to the account you made?

once number is ported out the account is deleted. Also Metro uses physical sim cards you can use ESIM since its different number also.

I might as well get a new number from another carrier. Google voice port out is taking forever, but I don't care about the number. Just want an out of state area code.
