For visible, my Samsung is the only esim capable phone I own. It's linked to my current visible line. If I add a new visible plan via esim I'm not sure what happens.

I moved from visible Plus to usmobile, it's great, usmobile have same uwb high priority Verizon network as visible Plus but much lower price

When calling, they may tell you that you have to wait a few days until it goes through. If they do you can ask for them to check with the supervisor, or hang up and call again. They can complete the port manually it just takes a few minutes.
You will know that the port is completed because you will get an email to the account associated with Google Voice that the number has been ported out.

Forgot to reply! The representative was nice enough to stay on the line while manually doing whatever. The line can finally receive texts. Only downside is that an entire month went by without proper service. I'm going to port the number out to tello $5/month plan. Will wait and see if FCC forces 60 day unlock for all carriers.

According to what happened with Tracfone-locked phones, only those activated after their new policy took into effect (Nov 2021) get 60-day unlocking period. Previously activated phones were still on a 1-year countdown.

Carriers may also hike the price of their subsidized phones to offset fewer months of plan required, so it's more or less a gamble.

Never mind. Activated successfully using esim. So I guess for esim-capable devices, no physical sim will be shipped.
