A direct deposit is an electronic deposit of your paycheck or government benefits, such as Social Security, Disability etc. Other deposits (i.e., online banking transfers, ATM and mobile check deposits, etc.) or person-to-person payments are not considered a direct deposit. Account transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to the account."
Just double checking... anyone know of anything else besides "paycheck or government benefits" that would qualify? I am retired, so no paycheck. And it'll be awhile before I'm eligible for Social Security. I guess I'm not the target audience for this promotion LOL

Pretty sure I can't say the website here, but search google for "doctor best bank bonuses". If there are sponsored links, go past them. Find another deal website that's named after someone you'd see if you are sick. Go there. Search Axos and you should see this deal posted. Click that. Find where it says, "Direct deposit required: Yes, $1,500+ per month" and click that. You should see a bunch of banks that counted as a DD that looks like this:
