Undoubtedly bits from Wiha, Wera, PB Swiss will be superior, but they will also be far more expensive. For example, this 100 piece bit set from Kobalt is on sale for $12.98, but an 80 piece bit set from PB Swiss costs $293.30 [drpd.cc]! Your suggestion is a bit like telling someone who is thinking of buying a Kia to buy a Mercedes or BMW instead, because they are much better cars. That may be true, but it's hardly helpful.
I don't mean to pick on you in particular but I see variations of your argument posted here all the time ("Why are you even thinking of buying the Ryobi when the Festool will last so much longer?...") and it gets tedious. This site isn't about discussing who makes the best products; it's about whether or not the deals posted here are good value. And 100 bits made of S2 Chrome Vanadium Steel that come in a plastic case for $12.98 looks like a great deal to me.

Buy bits from Wiha, Wera, PB Swiss.
Much better steel, made in Germany/czech republic/Switzerland, and for Phillips bits they conform to the specific DIN ISO standard that is backwards compatible with the old JIS standard…where JIS fits Phillips and JIS better than standard Phillips (less cam out, fewer stripped screws, longer life of bits/drivers), less effort.
Try them. Quality over quantity. Thank me later.
