I'm honestly getting pretty disappointed in Slickdeals that these "random letter combo" Chinese brands are being posted here. Especially for something electrical…with such low rating…geez. I use Slickdeals specifically to be able to hear about deals on legitimate stuff and filter OUT this junky crap that's taking over Amazon and the marketplace retailers in general.

But hey, it's $5 🙄

I'm pretty disappointed in Amazon with the way they allow these 'random letter combo' chinese brands/manufacturers that disappear/reappear under some new name after their old one gets trashed because they sell complete garbage. It sure seems like there's absolutely no vetting/oversight happening.

What's even worse is that Amazon started hiding manufacturer names from product listings a while ago. Since then, it's been hard if not impossible to tell while browsing what's from a legit manufacturer (US or otherwise) with proper UL listing and other certifications... and the 'russian roulette' of countless cheap chinese knockoffs that have flooded amazon the last decade. Amazon's basically alibaba/aliexpress now, with the occasional sprinkling of legitimate, safe/certified products (..but beware of counterfeits, even among those).

I wouldn't touch these ultra cheap unbranded Chinese electrical goods, not worthwhile the risk of fire.

Yea, I just use it in the bathroom to charge my razor and hair clippers. For what it's worth, my Pixel 8 shows "charging rapidly" via its USB-C port.

It is rather clunky compared to a similar one from Belkin, purchases 10+ years ago. Just my 2 cents. I have only had it for a week so not in depth review.

I would agree it's more of a "transformer."

My favorites lately are the random $2.50 grocery items that are front page because they're 13 cents off of MSRP. And then the bickering that "it's always half that price at Grocery Outlet," etc. The entertainment keeps me from actually spending money, so in the end it's a slick deal…

Charges my Pixel 7a @4.5A. Same as the official charger. Overall, pleased with this device.

Its specs says 3.4A maximum, but you got 4.5A. It's actually a bad thing. It means they disregard the specs, put random parts in it. False advertising at best. Safety hazardous at worst. Who knows where they cut the corner.
