FYI

the pulleys have 2:1 ratio, so each of the 165lb stacks will give you 82.5lb of max resistance

FTs are intended for accessory movements. That's why even most of the high-end, commercial FTs have stacks with < 100 lbs max resistance. The Cybex Bravo has 85 lbs max. The Life Fitness CMDAP has 97.5 lbs max. The FreeMotion dual stack has 70 lbs max.

No it's super heavy once put together. You'd need to at least remove the weight stacks and move those separately, which isn't a huge deal, but unless you're two bodybuilders you are NOT moving that thing fully assembled.
Ok, thanks, I think I can deal with needing to remove the weights first if I need to move it temporarilly

Clearly this wouldn't be an option for everyone, but if you're inclined and able--I have seen similar all-in-one setups on facebook marketplace that people are just GIVING AWAY (or $50-$100 maximum for msrp $1k-$2k setups). They take up so much room that people eventually just want them gone.

And I have shot with Queen Letizia of Spain, too.

Sweet deal. Was waiting for this sale but ended up getting the Centr 3 with the Smith bar a few months ago. But if you need something. Definitely buy this. Just $1k best deal you'll find

I've had this over 3 years now - use it 5x week still like new with basic maintenance (silicone on moving parts every few months). The bench that comes with is heavy duty but too low for me so I got a decent incline/decline bench on A'zon for about $100.

Eh. For this price you could get a plate loaded bells of steel cable tower, an entry level squat rack, and a full set of Olympic weights. Which would also be fine for anyone not aspiring to lift over 250lbs, which, let's face it, is most people.

I have this. It works exactly as advertised. Wish I got the one with the squat bar though….
I do squats max out on this with the multi purpose belt on my shoulder. Just make sure to inspect your belt once a while! Smilie

Damn maybe I should try that again. I tried it once and wasn't really confident in how I felt about it. Good to know though thank you

I bought this from costco 2 years ago. I use it several times a week. I'm 6'2" and it works just fine. Highest setting for tricep pull downs with rope is just high enough to get full motion. I can do pull ups without a problem. Yes, the bar at the gym is slightly higher but its high enough. The 2:1 weight ratio is still plenty for cable weight for both chest and legs for 99% of people looking to stay in shape. I hit almost every muscle group with this machine. Some exercizes are more tricky than others but most things can be accomplished. If your goal is a 1 rep max and bulk then you won't use cables much anyway, you'll live in the free weight section of the gym. The footprint and versatility is fantastic. If your family isn't willing to give up space for a gym then this equipment is perfect. I love it.

I'd probably buy an exercise mace, club, medicine ball and a barbell and call it a day for ~$200

There are plenty of local deals to be had if you even bother to check. Here's an example:
https://www.facebook.com/marketpl...7577832951
Bowflex xtreme 2 all-in-one for $30 (retail $1.5k). I see a good dozen listings for similar (all under $100) within 60 miles. If you're too good to buy used (or too lazy to perform a search), then that's a personal problem.

So it isn't difficult to remove the weight stack to move? I was worried about getting cables through the pulleys and everything. Found an amazing price on Marketplace but I'd have to take it apart, move it, and reassemble by myself. Seemed daunting but you are making me second guess now.

Moving this thing is a pain. It's not impossible or difficult but having to remove the weight stacks and then putting them back is annoying.
