Not exactly. G series is a bit brighter, is better at higher res sources, and comes with the 5 year panel warranty

That's correct. The Gallery Series is typically intended to be wall mounted. LG changed that stance in 2024 because you order the G4 with a stand or wall mount. Lastly you should be able to find a third party tabletop stand that supports the VESA pattern and weight of the G3.
