Insane deal - this is the equivalent to the RZ70 except it has balanced in/out for the LR channels that I need to drive my NCore external amps Smilie

how does this compare to the likes of Denon X3800 or X4800 and it's Marantz equivalent? Im waiting for the X3800 to drop to $800 around Black Friday, based on past price changes.

Is this the lowest price? I can wait until end of the year if it will go lower.

Mainly needing something that is 7.x.2/4 and has HDMI 2.1 inputs for the latest spec, trying to future proof myself for the next 5-10 years. Also room correction, either Dirac or Audyssey multeq XT 32

Crazy good deal. Unfortunately, my Denon X4500 I bought at Fry's for $600 is still humming along. Would love the extra power, amps, and Dirac Live that comes with it.

Those Frys deals were nuts. Got my X3300W for 300 dollars.

I'm guessing BuyDig is not an authorized Pioneer retailer, right?

Can anyone think of a workaround for the global crossover? I have 5 speakers that are fine with this. - But I have atmos toppers that start at 150 hz. I don't want to sacrifice the lower mid sound of my bookshelf speakers and center by crossing at 150 hz and also I don't want to damage the atmos toppers or the avr.

the LX805 apparently has individual crossovers, check this https://www.avsforum.com/posts/62419497/

There are no authorized online dealers for Pioneer Elite electronics. Could only find Pioneer Car Audio authorized online dealers.

This might be closer in spec to the 6800. Previous best deal was about $1900 for RZ70 if I recall correctly.

Why would you use a global crossover? You should be able to set the crossover of each speaker individually.

All Pioneer receivers all have ONLY one global crossover you can set for all your speakers. There's no way to do it individually. It's been this way forever.

Edit: It looks like this new pioneer has individual crossovers

Wow. It seems like you're right. Thanks for spotting this. Do you know if the 505 can be setup this way as well?

For this price that's pretty ridiculous. Just get a Marantz or Denon and not worry about it
