I think this is actually, finally dead as I can no longer get any coupons to appear.

Microcenter is offering $100 off any laptop coupon to new customers when you sign up and create a new account.

A new account is one where the email address and cell phone number don't exist in their system, and they accept the cell phone number. (I think Google Voice Numbers and some others will not work.)

I don't have a direct link to the coupon, it will appear when you go to their laptop section and scroll down the page. They have a $15 off coupon that appears sometimes, and sometimes it's $100 off a laptop. Treat this as a YMMV, and don't try to cheat the system by using multiple coupons please.

Updated 08/25/2024 - More repeatable way to get the coupon with video:

Note: In the video the last tab I open has the $100 off, but that was just luck, it often appears on another tab.

1: Open this page/post.
2: Right click on the following link and choose "Open link in incognito mode" in Chrome https://www.microcenter.com/categ...-notebooks
3: When the page opens in incognito mode select the tab and right click on it and choose "Duplicate." Do this many times, I usually do it 10 times so 11 incognito tabs are open at the web address.
4: Click on a tab to bring it to the front and scroll down the page at some point the coupon offer may appear.
5: If the coupon does not appear, or a different coupon appears, then close the tab and try on the next tab, or chose "Duplicate" to get more tabs.
6:When the coupon appears sign up for a new account. They'll text a verification link to your phone and your email address.
7: Accept the verification on the phone and they'll text you a link to a unique one-time use coupon tied to your account.

Just a heads up, I did the new customer account thing for the $100 off a Creality printer and although I got it to work in store, it did require some groveling with the manager. Even though I used a unique email/phone number something in the transaction still linked my old account. Perhaps the credit card although I'm fairly sure that was new too. Maybe just my experience but they seemed to be using more than just email/phone # to link accounts and block "new customer only" deals. Or at least they did at the Fairfax VA store.

I am, I would demand a GC but I can't get it to pop up every single time - maybe like 20-25% is $100 off- the rest is either $15 off $30 or $50 off laptop coupons. Also, their system isn't 100% perfect - usually it texts the coupon right away, sometimes it takes awhile - occasionally (rarely) it just doesn't send at all

Don't do that any more. They will stop learning and ask for help.

And it's a violation of user agreement. Don't offer personal help! Publish it and if they cant do it with so many discussions, let them go! It is what it is!

That's the store I'm planning to visit, so are you saying they not easily honor the coupon?

By the way I had bad experience when last time there was a error in pricing they didn't honor it and staff was pos

The coupon is for 100 off any laptop. You used it on the the printer? May be that's what manager didn't liked.

edit: Deal is NOT dead. after a couple hours of trying every once and a while on MS Edge, clearing the cookies/browser history after each attempt, it finally gave me the $100 off coupon.

The coupon is only working on regular priced laptops. It doesn't work on any open box or any laptop that is on sale. I tried in my Microcenter for 3 different machines and they refused to honor it. Even the manager interjection didn't help. The staff is just not good in general.

This coupon is fine for those spending on higher end machines. But the budget laptops typically will be cheaper elsewhere.

Which sale laptop did you try it on? Perhaps it is store dependent? Which store were you at? At the early onset, someone said it stacks with all all promo, discount, etc so maybe they just recently changed this because of SD?

Almost their entire laptop selection is "on sale" lol.
