I bought the Sony truebuds S on the last deal and they were defective. Left earphone volume goes really low every 5 minutes as if it was losing connection for a second. So that was bad.
I contacted secondipity and they provided a return label and now I'm waiting for a replacement. They replied to my emails within 24h so that was great customer service.
edit: lesson is to test then right away just in case.

Also I believe the Sony earbuds were "refurbished" so that may be reason for the issues. From what I can tell these are "new"

Yea but noise cancellation won't work correctly. I am using Dekoni foam tips with mine. I really like them over the silicone ones that come with the AirPods. The foam has some property that keeps the AirPods from slipping out of your ears.
Price is kinda steep especially if you don't know your size. They have a sample pack with all three sizes. I think I was using the medium silicone Apple ear tips and use small Dekoni foam tips.

After connecting to iPhone, it displays coverage expired in the Warranty area. This doesn't necessarily concern me. A brand new iPhone 13 purchased this year from Target on clearance had the same issue; basically even though new it was older device.
Case was fully charged and each AirPod showed 78%. I could not find a battery health section of the Airpods like the iPhone and Watch have.
I had to connect the case to a charger and follow the steps in the documentation to get it to pair with the iPhone. Pairing directly out of the box without connecting to charger would not work.
The box mine shipped in had a Staples label on it and looked like it had been through hell. AirPods box inside looked fined. Not sure if this was a return or just liquidation of AirPods Pro Gen 1s from Staples.
Overall, for $95 not too bad. $15 more over standard AirPods 2 when those are on sale, but with noise cancellation, transparency, and access to foam ear tips.
Communication from Secondipity was fine. Got shipping notification with tracking number. Looking at reviews of the site, I probably wouldn't buy a TV from them. Something like the AirPods I would roll the dice on again with PayPal or something similar.
