Lots of carcinogens listed in the ingredients. Pass.

Mix water, fresh juice, honey (if you need added sweetness)

For people actually looking at this deal without the medical diagnosis, I found that this wasn't sweet enough. Walmart generic brand is my benchmark, and the Ocean Spray Zero as second.

With only 5% juice they really lean into the 'splash' part of the title.

It's garbage.

Think about if you were juicing yourself. You just put the fruit in and juice it. You don't really add anything.

Yet, look at the ingredients on that list. Filled with artificial sweeteners, fake flavors to make it taste fruity, and they add fake color dye because there's not much real juice in it so they have to make the beverage look 'real'.

Looking at the ingredients list, there's too much nonsense. They can't make a profit selling REAL juice for $1.55. At cost, it's less than $1 for the company making it. So you're pretty much paying for water and chemicals added into some juice. And by juice, we're talking about fruits/veggies that are damaged and then salvaged to make this juice.

Also, juice itself is pretty bad because of the sugar intake. Even natural fruit juice. Because you are removing the fiber, your body is just sipping on sugar vitamin water. If you can, just eat the fruit. If you are juicing, you are 100% better off making a smoothie instead.

They sweeten it with artificial sweeteners. If you want it to be more sweet, you might as well just add some sugar of your own.

Why even add red dye to a drink? Because they can't even get the juice to look natural.

In terms of medical problems, many countries ban the type of ingredients used in these products because of health concerns. Countries in Europe ban many American processed foods from being sold in their country. Look at how much America spends on healthcare for obesity and chronic conditions caused by the food they eat... it's in the hundreds of billions, likely will enter trillions once people get enrolled into Medicare in the future.

not sure how old the kids are but i would avoid giving kids Sucralose or other sugar substitutes and give them least processed sugar but limit the daily amount to 20g total or less.
