Looking at the table the SFT40 6000-6500K has less lumens than the XHP50.2 emitter, but it has more illumination (cd); sorry I don't have both to compare but I am very satisfied with the SFT40 beam.

In any case, very nice little light with the Anduril 2 interface.

That said, the mid and high modes still output a lot of light for everyday use. Get something like a Sofirn Q8 if you need higher sustained output.

700 lumens for over 2 hours on both

well I checked it out, and it actually hit 3,700 lumens in the review for a brief few seconds. course it probably dropped withthin 30.
I think that's the problem with these cheap lights, is you can't get 1000 plus lumens sustained, which is what you would really like in a lot of situations.
Color wise 6000k is more bluish white, 5000k is more yellow white natural.
If you like to fix cars at night get the fc13 xhp50.2 which is more floody. If you want more throw get the fc13 sft40. I would say the sft40 is better for walking. Please add the magnetic tail caps to your order!! If you are going to use turbo please use high discharge battery of at least 20A for your safety (fire/explosion risk). Although any unprotected 18650 cell can turn on turbo, it is not worth risking your life over. Fc13 xhp50.2 draws 20A and fc13 sft40 draws slightly over 12A on turbo. If no turbo use any 18650 cell will do. On high it will draw under 5A.
Ts22 70.2 is the most floody of all. But it is flawed by the autolock out mode. Still usable, just somewhat annoying.
Ts22 70.3 hi, this uses a domeless cree led. It has good brightness and runtime on high, somewhat floody as well.
Both the ts 22 and 23 uses a boost driver, so any 15-20A battery is fine for turbo use.
2 cents: ts22/23 can use both 18650 or 21700 cells. I recommend the Molicel brand high discharge batteries. The ts23 is the best overall light if you can afford it. If you just want a decent cheap bright light the fc13 sft40 is your choice. Fc13 more edc size, but the ts23 can also fit in your pocket, just a bit bulky. Wurkkos is Sofirn's sister company.
