Yes. I've had this Bosch 800 series model (an earlier version but essentially the exact same dishwasher) for 8 years and it is hands down the best dishwasher I've ever owned (and I'm 60). I loved it from the day I got it and as a bonus it's been reliable and looks and performs like new 8 years later. I like the top-control version because over time, external controls will show wear long before the dishwasher dies. You sacrifice external displays showing how long the cycle has left, but the look is clean and there's a little light at the floor that shows you it's running.Bosch 500 and 800 series dishwashers all have the same guts. The differences are in the controls, design, racks, and cycles. It's nearly impossible to sort out all the models, but what most people don't realize is that no matter what model you get, you can customize your Bosch dishwasher using some codes in the manual. For example if you want less energy efficiency and more drying (like an American dishwasher), you can configure that after the dishwasher is installed. I love Costco for appliances and here's what you need to know: The contractors will do what you ask them to do. Otherwise they may do the minimum. I've had appliances like washers and dryers and dishwashers delivered and they set it up and start a cycle to show it's working, then are ready to leave. But I always ask:"After you haul away this one, can you give me a few minutes to clean behind it?"
"Oh, sure. We'll wait."
After it's installed, "Did you level the appliance? I have a bubble level here if you'd like to use it."
"Oh, sure, we'd be happy to do that." And they take a few minutes and do it."Did you hook up the steam function? This washer has a steam function."
"Oh, you want that? Sure. We can get a steam kit from the truck." And they do. No charge. They are always nice and willing and never charge extra for whatever hardware is needed. But you have to watch what they're doing and ask.

"Basic" installation, they will hook up the drain hose and connect the power. They will not drill or do anything which requires "additional services". Source - I've used Costco for a dishwasher in the past and most recently a all-in-one washer/dryer combo for my rental. Thank you.

I just had this dishwasher installed by a Costco contractor with haul away of my previous GE dishwasher. I saw a lot of negative reviews about installers on Costco's website, but my installers were very communicative, wore shoe covers, made sure nothing ever dragged on my hardwood floors, they expanded the hole in my cabinet to fit the drain hose, and they installed the Bosch junction kit I bought since my previous dishwasher was hardwired, all without trying to get any more money out of me.

We have two. They are quiet and work great.

The full quietness aspect is really more of a question of how well can it seal in the hole you have for it.

There seemed to be lots of reviews about the 300 and 500 series not being very dry and these do actually dry them.
I noticed that the new dishwashers with stainless steel tubs need JET DRY to get your dishes bone dry. First couple of loads I did; water everywhere. Used JET DRY and my dishes and the tub looked like they were baking in the Sahara desert.

I got this 800 series Bosch at a new house. Surprisingly I prefer the base model 100 series Bosch dishwasher (previous house) over this one.
How was the 100 better than the 800?

I had the same experience with their installer. I also have this dishwasher from Costco and am very happy with it so far after 3 months.

I have one and highly recommend it.

Tips:

Take your time when installing. Make sure it's level and sealed properly

When unpacking, save the black piece of plastic attached to the back. It can be mounted under your sink to create a high loop for the drain line

If you have a RO water filter with its own drain line, buy a "Drain Line Adapter" from Amazon. It is an easy and safe way for your dishwasher + RO filter + Garbage disposal to coexist without risk of waste water backflow.

The middle rack has 3 height settings. The height of the left and right side can be adjusted independently This is useful when the bottom rack has tall items on one side and you need a little more clearance.

If your dishes come out wet or glass/plastic is still spotty, use Jet Dishwasher Salt and adjust the water softener setting in the app.

Check out page 34 of the user manual [bosch-home.com]. You can adjust the "basic settings" on this dishwasher to suit your tastes, and this includes more intensive extra drying if you like.

$1800 if you buy 2 😂
Hey can we do two different places for install. Get a friend and install one each? That would be fun.

Does Costco install include drilling hole into cabinet and providing connection? I have space but no prior dishwasher installed, press next to sink with power access with garbage disposal

I did read their installation policy but still not very clear

If anyone knows, it's much appreciated
We purchased a gas range and an over-the-stove microwave from Costco this past March. The range was installed with no issues. It was simply a replacement of an old gas stove. The installer (owner's son) was excellent. He leveled the stove and made sure everything worked before leaving. The microwave arrived a few days later and a different installer was sent (from the same company). My setup above the microwave is a panel (that looks like a set doors) which is held in place by 2 screws from the adjacent cabinets. This is not what the installer expected. He told us to call a cabinet maker to have real doors made and then call him back to have the microwave installed. "This was a total waste of time" said the installer as he was rushing out.

We decided to return the microwave to Costco and purchase one from Home Depot instead and have my husband install it. The price was higher at Costco because it includes installation and haul away. As my husband was reading the installation instructions, he noticed that this microwave requires a 6-inch exhaust pipe (since the fan is more powerful) instead of a 4-inch one that was there. Had the setup been what was expected by the installer, I believe he would have just installed the microwave using the 4-inch exhaust pipe and we would never have known that it was incorrect.

I did not know there were ways to customize the dishwasher. Going to check for these codes on my rather new 500 series. Would love some extra water during the rinse cycle. The amount of water used during a rinse cycle is comically low. I don't like drinking soap so I always run another rinse only cycle after a full cycle. Thanks for the tip.

YMMV on the installers. Ours completely ghosted us, lied about coming over and knocking on the door when we were all home and ultimately I ended up installing myself after waiting on him for almost 2 weeks. Easy but it does need a larger hole through the cabinet to fit the hoses.

The Benchmark series is also on sale for a few hundred more. Is that one much better?

In contrast, my Costco delivery guys damaged my front door and frame, made a hole in my floor with my refrigerator, delivered damaged preassembled dining chairs, and the dining table assembly ended up wobbly with a bunch of loose bolts. Oh they also dented my washer and dryer. It also took them 6 visits to do one order because they kept sending only 2 people to deliver 6 items within 30 minutes.

But on the flip side, they didn't blow up my house like best buy delivery guys almost did with my neighbors who smelled the gas from their dryer install.

That's wild. Never heard of that problem. I wonder if it's related to the amount of rinse aid you're using, or the detergent, or the hardness of your water.

I don't see length of the rinse cycle as an option for this model [bosch-home.com], though each model is different. I do see the ability to adjust for water hardness, adjust the amount of rinse aid dispensed, adjust the sensitivy of the water sensor, and adjust the drying level, in addition to adjustments for lights, sounds, and default cycle.

This dishwasher is so quiet you have to learn to check the red light that shines on the floor to see that it's on. That's the only problem I've had so far to put it in perspective. It's a great dishwasher, best I've owned after four different dishwashers in different homes. Clean the filter every month or two if you tend to put dishes in messy.
Seconding this. Before I got my Bosch dischwascher, I thought the "light to tell you it's running" was a ridiculous idea. After getting it, I can officially say that it's not. The number of times we have said "is the dischwascher running?" even from _in the kitchen_ is a bit ridiculous.

Interesting, I bought a refrigerator 20 months ago without an icemaker, so all they had to do with slide it into the alcove. It was a traditional refrigerator with the freezer on top and refrigerator on bottom. I asked them to reverse the swing and they would not.
