I've had maybe 10 or 15 Audible trials over the years - don't qualify for this one. Super YMMV but last year during the promo it showed me the deal but didn't add it to cart so I messaged Audible support and they added 3 months free to my account (I wasn't paying for any subscription at the time). Might be worth trying if anyone wants.

FWIW: I remember a similar deal last year that came out a few weeks before prime day. I remember pulling the trigger but later regretting it because prime day added a free $10 or $20 (sorry forgot the exact dollar amount) amazon credit. The deal doesn't expire until the 31st, so I recommend at least waiting until Prime day to pull the trigger.

Maybe I'll wait till the Prime Day.
I vaguely remember that a few years back there was a similar promo and then around Prime Day it was buffed with some extra credit.

Clicked link and although the landing page said 3 months, once I logged in it offered me the "deal" of paying full price $14.95 now then $14.95/month later through infinity until canceled. Noped right out of there, plenty of other things to listen to, most don't have proprietary DRM.

I think it's really all about the 3 months of credits because you get 1 per month and wouldn't get the other 2 if you cancel now. It sounds like you would need to just set a calendar reminder to cancel after you receive and use the 3rd month credit. The reason I say "use" is because I'm pretty sure you lose any credits when you cancel subscription. At least that's what I think but if someone could confirm that would be great.

Like others I'm not 100% sure I got 3 months free but I'm willing to gamble on possibly getting charged next month. I think they don't want to show the end of promo period officially because they know folks are savvy with cancelling now and are trying to make it a bit more confusing. It's a risk I'm willing to take because I have no problem demanding a refund if I get charged.

Interesting I got the offer for 3 months, I've had several free trials in the past. But this time they don't offer you two free audiobooks or even one free audiobook just the free 3 months. The only time I ever really took up the free trial in the past was to get the free audiobooks.
