Yes -- your card stays the same as long as you keep it open

Your cash back percent just changes depending on if you have Prime or not
It's 2 days away. Are you saying there aren't Black Friday sales being posted earlier than Black Friday? Of course there are.
I got approved. After being denied for years. I'm sure it has been said. But the key is you have to not apply for other cards for a certain time. Even if you have 850 credit. I was pre approved back in March. But I waited until til the $200 gift card hit to apply. Good luck guys.

Don't you really mean $60 since one has to fork over $140 for Prime? Or does that not count in your math?
No one is forcing you to pay $140 for 1yr Prime

Depending on your account:
- free trial
- $2 for 7-day trial
- $15 for 1mo (might be able to get that refunded if you cancel same day without making any purchases)

For those whom the Amazon offer shows just a $60 sign-up bonus instead of a $200 sign-up bonus, are you Prime members?

I'm thinking of signing up for Prime to get this offer, but not if I'll still only get a $60 sign-up bonus.
In March I was looking at a phone and Amazon offered the $200 off if I got the card and I'm not a Prime member and never have been. So maybe different offers are targeted depending on some arcane Amazon metrics?

then add all the free shipping, ebooks, movies, TV, etc in that you aren't getting without being Prime.
Or does that not count in your math?
Have never paid for S&H on Amazon; cheaper ways to get movies and ebooks. 😁

Well that's one way to apply and it takes under an hr. Did you get up on the wrong side of bed or are you always this argumentative?

The 5% back is nice and adds up fast if you buy regularly from Amazon. Also further sweetens fp Amazon deals.
Chase Freedom and Discover have 5% at Amazon at least once per quarter each year. Amex Blue will give you 3% on Internet purchases all year. I am sure there are others and none of these require you to pay some $100+ gouge fee each year for "Prime" membership so you can get your stuff delivered "sometimes" in 2 days instead of 3 or 4 lol.

My 2 cents.

Congratulations, you've been approved for Prime Visa!
Your card was added to your Amazon account as your default payment method for Amazon services, including shopping and Amazon memberships such as Prime.
Full credit limit: $150000.00
Initial credit limit: $5500.00
Purchase APR: 29.24%
You will be able to utilize your full credit limit after you verify receipt of your card. Your new card will arrive by mail within two weeks in a plain, white envelope.

Is this some sort of glitch??? I've never had a credit card with a limit quite that high.

150k???? Or 15k?? Did you add an extra zero on accident?
I just got approved for 15k. We have 830 credit, so all my cards hover around 10-30k

I got this last time. I was a little worried it would not work for the full $200 but I got it. Still have not used that card.
