Sounds like your Experian or TransUnion Report is frozen. Those are the 2 that they hit. You need to make sure all 3 Reports are Unfrozen before applying. When I did the pre-qualify it also told me they couldn't get my report even though I unlocked all 3 right before submitting. Anyhoo I went ahead and submitted my application and was approved for 10k
Same happened with my application. Chase called me less than 24hrs later to confirm my identity. Then I was approved. The call was about 10 minutes
I was just telling you my situation in hopes that the info would help you.
Yes. Source: just did it

EDIT: Confirmed as well. Did the self-referral route and got an extra $50 too
YMMV but this only required Experian to be unfrozen
Had to wait a day to get confirmation it was approved.
35 point credit hit.
How much points did your score go down?

Thats not hit its hit and run over, your months of credits score. I took home loan and they deduct only 12 points.

Were you able to buy from Amazon but not getting charged on your card to pay a balance? That's the reason why I canceled the card. Amazon confirmed they were getting paid and Chase said the charges were not coming in so I wasn't getting charged on the account. So for a week or so , my purchases were pretty much all free since they were not reflecting on Chase's end. I caught it before Chase did and even the rep and his managers were confused on what was going on. Chase Rep wasn't sure what was going on so I canceled the card to make sure I won't be held liable/fraud if I knowingly kept using the card.
