    I got approved. After being denied for years. I'm sure it has been said. But the key is you have to not apply for other cards for a certain time. Even if you have 850 credit. I was pre approved back in March. But I waited until til the $200 gift card hit to apply. Good luck guys.

    Thanks, but I froze all 3 major agencies, so that's what I'm asking. I don't really want to unfreeze all 3, because it's a hassle. Hoping to figure out which one to unfreeze, but maybe not possible to know.

    For Chase it varies by state -- in Illinois they pull both TU & EXP

    If you remember which one Chase pulled for you in the past then you can unfreeze that otherwise just temp unfreeze all 3 for one day -- doesn't take that long (only takes me a min to unfreeze all 3)

    Wonder if I'd get approved, I defaulted 8 years ago, eventually settled about 40% of the balance about 5 years ago. Since then recovered my credit, up to 790 these days and doing well financially. But have feeling chase still hates me. Wonder if worth the ding if I don't even get the card. I hate syncbank they are STILL holding my $500 deposit from years ago when I began repairing my credit, despite other cards approving me for $10K limits.

    I messed up years ago with a like 3 banks, and after those accounts dropped off on year 7, all of them approved me for new accounts.

    Just hope you don't ever let the interest kick in! It's the worst terms. Read the fine print! I did get the 200 gift card credit in 15 minutes, but don't ever plan to use this card. Amazon automatically puts your default payments to this so Beware!
