Serengeti are very good quality optics. I have an Aviator in Rose Gold bough from Costco some time back. They have held up together absolutely well!!
Slightly heavy than your Rayban or Oakley due to the glass optics, but well worth for the clarity & scratch resistance.
how can they confirm that they are real over the phone? did they even look at them ?

I bought anteo few days ago. Got them today. Green glasses ones, which suppose to be the darkest glasses. Build quality is good, feels good. Colors and clarity is good, but nothing special. I have smith with chroma pop lenses and colors look much better there. Also they are not darkening enough, in bright sun...

I bought another pair of the anteo. Reached out to serengeti and confirmed that they are real. Just unsold stock due to lagging sales in the sunglasses market.

Got Serengeti from the last sale. Very happy. I'm super excited to see anti glare coating from inside of the lenses, so you don't see reflection from your eyes! Never go back to RB

How are these better than cheap aviators on amazon?

I have several Serengeti and the colors pop on the polarized ones. Try a pair at a store and you will see the difference. I travel with cheap ones and always miss my Serengeti.

Usually stick with Maui Jim's but bought the aviators last sale. Wish they were polarized but definitely worth the price. Crystal clear glass and high quality frames.

They're glass and they have a photochromatic lens. Normally this would be a valid question for your standard plastic sunglasses but in this case the answer is right there in the title.

The only thing that would make sense is if they confirmed that they sell overstock to eyedictive. Obviously that doesn't mean eyedictive doesn't mix in fakes with real pairs but why would they have to if they have access to overstock? I personally bought a pair of these last time they were on sale and can confirm at least two things: They are glass and the lenses are photochromatic. $50 would be a reasonable price to pay for knockoffs with glass photochromatic lenses so imo it kind of doesn't matter either way.

Any pilots out there that use the Carrara? I fly with cheap polarized glasses and they're terrible for looking at screens. They're also not great to wear under a headset.

Why would they sell overstock to non-authorized sellers and cut their retailers off. Serengeti has only 3 retailers in Florida and Eyedictive is not one of them and not a reseller either. Call 1(800) 779-3937 and ask about Eyedictive and they will clearly tell you that this vendor has no business selling their stuff and if it is then its knockoff or grey market (rejects etc).

Seems like a perfect time for the Eyedictive rep to explain the process for this product. They are active in other threads, let's hope they respond here. I ordered two, hoping they are not knockoffs and are a gray market product at least
