You'd be surprised these days at the stupidity of some people, I doubt he's trolling. Just look at most of the comments in this thread and also the expectations from most that Samsung owes them a free phone essentially.

How good are the trade in deals for those coming from iPhone? In the past have the trade in deals for these phones warranted making the jump from Apple to Samsung? For reference, I'd be willing to part with my iPhone 14 Pro Max for the new Samsung flagship if the deal was sweet enough.

That is the group of users that Samsung targets heavily for switching e.g. the highest trade in value of $800 for fold 5 is for an iPhone 14 pro max so I'm sure they will offer a good trade in value for fold 6 tomorrow as well.

The Pixel Fold isn't perfect, but it's wider outer screen and landscape orientation on the inner screen make for a much more useful experience. I've been using mine for a while and it's my favorite phone ever, even with so so battery and occasional signal struggles. I wish Samsung would stop with these tall skinny boys once and for all.

This is how I feel about the pixel fold. Samsung folds outer screen looks comically like a TV remote and not practical to use with one hand.

Looks to be beneficial if you are purchasing more than one phone with insurance.

Trade in values are NOT worth it from last year's. Looks like they finally got rid of the incentive to upgrade each year. $400+ for a very minimal upgrade is not a deal at all. Was going to bite if it was less than $200.
