Just take it to a locksmith with your key and have it rekeyed. They just change the pins to match. Shouldn't be much. Last time I did that was about $5 each a couple years ago. Much cheaper than having them come to you. That'll be closer to $100 just for driving to you. Since you can do it before installing no worries about leaving your place unlocked or leave it and they can do when not busy and pick up later.
There are kits to do yourself on Amazon but if you don't have patience and DIY skills just easier to visit locksmith to be done right. I had 8 done so didn't feel like playing with them.

EDIT: For reference purchased mine July 2017 when monoprice had them on clearance for $80 each. Ironically was a front page slick deal back then.
While I don't like that color at all, I may get it as spare.

I use Eneloops and the lock gets a fair bit of use, probably goes about 2-3 months before they need to be recharged. On the ZWave implementation side you're 100% correct, they predate the more modern standards and I can see them giving newer hubs some issues (mine is connected to an "old enough to be your dad" Vera Lite).
I think the price on these is about right. This isn't a screaming deal, it's a low-cost option on antiquated hardware.
NVM, seen above that it works with ring.

Ive spent a lot of time (and money) fighting with Yale locks. You can't upgrade the module in these to the 500 series zwave plus version, despite them being identical in appearance. The 500 series module ALSO only supports S0 and is still the "newest" module they will sell you directly https://shopyalehome.co
Thankfully you can buy the 700 series modules (which actually support S2 security) on ebay but Yale is trying to burn through old stock before making those available to consumers.
I would typically get 3 to 4 months using energizer batteries. I was seeing the same 2 to 3 months with Eneloops also. I'm finally getting 8+ months out of the Yale Assure lock 1 with 700 series module with energizer batteries.
