Does this really not have the TPM security chip? I saw a review on the Lenovo site that said it doesn't.

Debating between this or the very similar HP for $55 less.

Also, does lenovo let you set the max battery charge level for when it is nearly always plugged in?

Ideapad 5 and 3 are the original models known for broken hinges years ago. Not sure if they have gotten any better. I have an ideapad 5 pro few years ago that has developed a crack in the hinge. It was not even a 2 in 1.

Personally i have a HP EliteBook i5-1245U and a Lenovo Legion Go Ryzen Extreme....I have noticed that the AMD Processors are just more fluid (yet more battery intensive) than the Intels. I do video encoding and its night and day when it comes to Intel XE vs the 780M in the Ryzen Extreme. So depends on your workload, they have different strengths, Intel for battery, AMD for fluidity and power

You are comparing an i5 u processor with a Ryzen Extreme so of course the amd would use more power. However, when you are comparing processors that are close to each other in price point, usually the amd will be much more power efficient than Intel.

Starts with an R, and has a U.
At least it was 10% when I posted, sorry, on vacation, just saw your question
