IGN review says very good gameplay, though Luigi's Mansion 3 is better still.

I have the same old grumble- Nintendo wants $60 for this game!? This is a deal over nin's $60 👍 I still get frustrated at Nintendo's first-party pricing. Same old, same old grumble. I think the existence of Luigi's Mansion 3 makes this one sting a bit more.

A note for people who prefer digital, this is game voucher eligible at https://store.nintendo.com/, so you can buy a $100 GC for $90 at Costco and use it for the voucher to get two games including this (making it $45).

Luigi's Mansion 2 came out on the 3DS back in 2013. Now they're releasing it for the Switch.
