Got really excited on these a month ago when they were on sale at this price. Bought one and created an account same evening. Put it on charger the whole night. Next day, I took the probes out of the case and tested with smoking brisket.

Likes:
1- Great idea!
2- The product/material looks really good.

Dislikes:
1- The case should be placed literally next to the smoker so that the probes don't disconnect. First I placed the case 8 feet away from the smoker (probes) and both probes were disconnecting from the case thus from the app.
2- I charged the whole thing overnight but its battery drained within 4 hours while smoking brisket. Not sure if I had a bad batch or that 20 hours is not a true statement.
3- I tried to put the probes back again into the case and plugged into the wall to charge them. There is no way you can tell they are charging. The app disconnects from probes and case after 10 minutes if you don't actively do something within the app. I assume the case shuts down as well and doesn't charger the probes.
4- The app doesn't tell you battery percentage for the probes and the case. It's just a small tiny bar indicator. Never seen it to be full highlighted even though charged it fully overnight.

I returned it to Costco. This might be good for a short time cooking grilling while having the case (hub) next the probes. Otherwise I didn't like it. I tried to delete my newly created account once I decided to return it back to Costco, they didn't even ask my feedback Smilie

Thanks for the write up. I was really considering buying this when the post showed up but nevermind. I'm still looking for a wireless probe that can lasts upto the whole smoking time but I doubt there's one.

I have this probe and haven't had an issue with battery life. They say you should get 40hr of battery life.

Same here, no issue on my end.
