Spray water over scratch first. If it disappears when covered with water, this should work (in the clear coat).. If you can still see the scratch through the water, the scratch it too deep, so don't waste your money.

This doesn't conceal scratches, that guy is wrong. This is an abrasive cream that buffs layers off your clear coat and will, in fact, remove scratches. Think of it as the same idea as a Magic Eraser. I've removed many minor scratches from my cars over the years with this stuff. You need some elbow grease and a buffing cloth and it's not for deep scratches but it's good stuff.

Personally not a fan of this stuff, but I'm a huge Meguiar's fan. Any product that does well at removing scratches typically needs to be followed up with a light polish. Meguiar's M105 and M205 or M110 and M210 were my go to compound & polish combos. Removing scratches is essentially sanding, compound is like a coarser sandpaper and polish is like a finer sandpaper. You really need both steps to remove or reduce a scratch that you would consider buying something to fix, and preferably a dual action polisher to really do the job right and take as much human error out of the equation as you can.

This product can make an area look better, but I recall it leaving behind ultrafine scratches that can only be removed with a follow up less aggressive polish. What frustrates me the most about it is that it's marketed aggressively that it'll just take a scratch out but in reality, paint correction is slightly more complex than that, but it isn't complicated.

The area should be washed, then clayed, then compounded, then polished, then protected with a wax, sealant or ceramic coating.

How long does it last? Sounds good to me if it works like that.

About 5 minutes and I'm not even a negative Nancy. You're better off buying a clay bar or synthetic equivalent with a quick polish. Takes 2 minutes.

Does this only work on paint or plastic (specifically piano black…..) too?

It's meant for light scratches, if you can feel them with your fingernail, even slightly, they're too deep.

Should work to get the haze & yellow off headlights. Any fine rubbing compound, or jewelers rouge.

I still have the same tube from 15 years ago, running a little low thought. Been using it to remove water spots, light scratches, paints marks from other cars scuffing my bumper and doors.

I have used this to polish the lacquer clear coat I put on custom pens I make. It will definitely remove light scratches. For polishing pens I start with 320 grit and work my way up the grits 400,600,1000,2000 and then the plastic polish. I have also used this to polish my yellow head lights but this is usually the last step in my process after sanding with 600grit, 1000 grit, and 2000 grit sandpaper.
