this is less food than their $6 build your own box. They keep raising prices and decreasing portions 🥺

My store has the option to upgrade the side to chips and guac for a 20¢ upcharge. They're no Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, but at least there's another option available for a small charge (YMMV).

If you use Uber, they have happy hour from 2-5 pm and I have a couple Taco Bells near me that participates and gives up to 50% off, most stores offer 40%off, if you spend $15 minimum. They also have buy one get one free in some items, the selection depends on the store.

Happy hour discounts even let you pick up instead of forcing you to get it delivered so you save a lot on fees. The Uber prices are very close to the prices in-store so with the discounts it is much cheaper. And Taco Bell lets you schedule your order so as long as you order from 2-5 pm you can pick up whenever.

It gets better if you got the Uber gift cards from Costco as well.

This is tempting to at least try once but I doubt I'd get it more than once. Maybe if there were alternative options to the burrito... The beefy 5 layer may very well be my least favorite item on Taco Bell's whole menu. Or if you could sub guacamole for the nacho cheese with the nachos at no extra charge... (Looks like it's an extra $1.10 charge by me, which is ridiculous!)

Taco Bell has gone downhill it's bad in my area you get an empty tortilla 99.9% of the time with lettuce and condiments sprinkled with few pieces of meat.

You don't seem to understand that nutrition doesn't correlate simply to the grade of meat used.

Fresh tomatoes, a little cheddar, fresh lettuce, and sour cream (probiotics, yay) all trump high-fat processed sausage or pepperoni over a sheet of mozzarella and sugary tomato sauce on a piece of bread baked in margarine. Say what you will about TB meat, but it's rarely ever dripping grease like a slice of Dominos.

Frankly, I like both, but am not deluded enough to think Dominos is significantly better for me.
No one is saying Dominos is some Michelin star level meal but it is far cheaper for far better food

Taco Bell's food is at the level of Checkers and Hardees but charges 2-3x

It's not just them KFC is bad, Burger King is bad even with the app, but no one tops T Bell because the food tastes so nasty and it costs so much

I liken T Bell to going to White Castle in the 2000s but paying $35-40 instead of $15-20

You're tripping if you think Dominos is far cheaper than Taco Bell. A "large" 3-topping hand tossed pizza is $21.44 on the regular menu in my area. As far as being better tasting - they are completely different cuisine.

just selected Denver, CO as my location on their website though I am nowhere near there
price of the Luxe box shows $7

not saying this is a good deal IMO but I honestly think people just post false info to dissuade others or just don't know what they are looking for

That's why I just get their 1 topping large at $8. I can get 2 pizzas cheaper than the 3 topping which charges $5 + for 2 more toppings but I'm also a cheap bastard and use the microsoft rewards points for pizza. I haven't paid for a dominos pizza in years aside from the insanity of using bing.

Another little trick to get you in the door so they can pick your pockets like they did to me a few days back. Hadn't eaten at the Bell in years...maybe about 10? Only had a bagel for breakfast and hadn't planned lunch, got the shakes so had to make a quick call..the Bell was a block away, how bad could it be!?! Bad. Was robbed $16 and change for 3 taco supreme meal, and added a burrito supreme (in case the tacos weren't filling enough). Jaw dropped when she said $16. Grudgingly paid, ate, and was hungry within the hour. Never again. Don't know how this location will stay in business at those prices.

How are you robbed? 'Cause you don't look at prices before you buy something?! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

That was the best part! They've buried the prices on the menu...you can barely make out what everything costs. I only noticed after I was trying to figure out how it could cost so much.

Solution: Don't pay. Go elsewhere. I'm 1000% sure that wherever there's a Taco Bell there is another fast food restaurant within a stone's throw.

The other day I went to buy an iced coffee and found out the price went up another 10%, told the cashier forget it and she said just take it anyways. I refused but she insisted so I walked out with the drink anyways. But I've never been above walking away when I'm not happy with the price.

No worries on that..I simply can't afford Taco Bell any more. Perusing the bell's Reddit, they are sick to death of folks complaining about pricing, especially in California. Like I said, I expected it to be higher, but $6.19 for a burrito supreme!?! Bury that price in a small font on a confusing digital screen (I can't find a pic of this store's digital menu online anywhere), it was like it was designed to confuse and 'encourage' you to complete the order. I seriously doubt there are enough stoners even in this college town to keep this store alive at those prices.

Went to the drive thru and that was the price on the menu. Spent 10 seconds looking at the ridiculous prices and just left. Taco Bell is garbage food. If I'm gonna spend that kind of money, I'd rather just go somewhere like Panda Express or Chipotle

I live in the largest city in this county, and it is red. This political stuff has nothing to do with the owners of these Taco Bells. They do not honor these deals. Bringing politics into this discussion was a weird stretch, and the assumption was just...wrong.

If you order fast food off the "regular menu" then you are less internet savvy than a 90 year old.

There are multiple 3 topping pizzas on Dominos site under coupons for $10

They just had 50% off all pizzas making their large specialty pizzas come out to be $10 and those had TEN toppings.

There is no way your area has zero coupons for Dominos, not for a national chain like that.

Specialty pizzas in my area cost $25 so their large for $21.44 is them trying to take advantage of people who dont know what a coupon is
