I got a M510 at a local Staples for a little under $10 the other day, it's still a larger wireless mouse and have a unifying receiver but not the other features - though it has more controls like side thumb buttons and tiltable wheel. Very YMMV no doubt, probably forgotten stock that was rediscovered since that's an older model but if you're heading to a store anyway you might want to check the clearance section - also some stores here have a different clearance section or more than one, this was near the mice at an endcap but they sometimes put it in the back too.
