Great deal and most sizes are available. I believe the blue shoes were made for other markets (European?). Only the sand/brown and the yellow shoe versions were released here in the US so you kinda get some unique shoes with the deal.

These are super comfy and supportive btw when I tried them at a local REI. I would recommend going up half a size but the REI shoe expert at the store told me even going up a whole size would work (for reference I am 11.5 in most shoes like Stan Smiths) so take that as you will. I tried size 12 and it fit me well with room by the toes but the store expert said 12.5 could be better to give me some more space but they didn't carry 12.5 for me to try/test.

YMMV depending on the shape/needs of your feet so I would definitely recommend trying them at REI or Roadrunner if you have one nearby

Maybe you need to educate yourself on high performance shoe brands before spewing ignorant non-sense. Also, what name brand shoes are you buying for $40 that won't fall apart in a year?

As a second to this, on Brooks site it says: We recommend ordering Brooks running shoes 1/2 to one size larger than your dress shoe.

Also, in case you're like me and are thinking, where is the discount, it's a $35 off $100 clothes or shoe purchase, so it'll apply in cart.

Is this a decent walking shoe?

Prefer something breathable and not so narrow toebox.

I feel like that salesman/expert was horrible. You never suggest something you don't have. If they had to go to the back they should've seen that they didn't have it when they brought you a 12. And it's rare that I have to go up a whole size in a shoe. Yeah you'll have more room, but depending on your activity you don't want to be sliding around in it too much.
Stan Smiths are wonky in sizing. I recently tried on a suede 11.5 at Ross and it was perfect. The fake leather ones seem to rub a little small. I'm an 11.5 as well. Brooks has weird sizing too. I tried on Ghost 14s and I need to half size up. The Launch 9s were true to size for me.

Yeah sizing is always a problem for me that's why I mentioned one should try them at a store first. I also tried the Brooks Cascadia and that one for sure i am 12.5. 12 feels a bit snug when I tried them on.

The salesman was trying to give honest advice to help the customer over just trying to sell what he had in stock, if I were the customer I would have appreciated it.
