Rhino USA only has USA in their name. The product itself was probably made in China. See the Amazon reviews where other users state the same. What a way to deceive the public. This is from Rhino's website:

Where are your products made?

"All of our products are designed, engineered and lab tested here in the USA, however, due to the extremely high cost of manufacturing locally, we source raw materials and manufacture overseas in order to keep the cost of our products competitive in our global marketplace."

I highly doubt they designed this shovel. Ozark and others have the exact same look.

I bought the Rhino brand of this 2 years ago for $28. WTH. It's an exact replica of the Ozark Trail one. Now I know it's just a generic shovel made in China and possibly rebranded 100 times over.

After seeing the amazon video, I can see the nut and bolt doesn't need to be tightened to lock in unfolded mode.

I considered it for this purpose until I saw the zigzag tooth feature. It can be useful, but hazardous for small children.

I have gerber brand and the real ames army surplus and cold steel spetnez. they fit different purposes. The gerber is the smallest and lightest of the bunch. I carry it in my backpack for short hikes. Honestly I would get a second gerber for another location but I may get this one to compare because its half the price right now.

It's a replica of NATO army supplied e-tool some versions are differing size. 30 bucks is about the price I got one from an army surplus store on ebay. I would never pay that much for a Chinese clone.

Gerber brand with a fork is made in; I forgot, not China anyway.
I'm looking for one around $80. The one listed on amazon is sold by amazon UK and wait time is around 6 months for a total of $110 ish

Is the one you have made in China, or? How much did you pay for yours? Thanks

My son-in-law lets the 4 year old use his power tools and drive their golf cart, so I think I'm safe buying him one to use at the beach.
And the 1 year old and 2 year old want to do everything "big brother" does, so I may need to pick up several.

We bought this a couple months ago, although the original price was $12 for us rather than $15. The blade is flatter than expected where I'd prefer a light curve like a normal shovel, but it's fine. It'll do for generic camping tasks.
