Just a datapoint since I bought this last month. I have this situated outside where it gets 2-3 hours of direct sunlight in Seattle. The battery only gets 20-30% of the sunlight needed to sustain itself in perpetuity. With this setup, I'm losing about 2% a day with 1-2 recording a day (default 20seconds) to 5% a day with 5-10 recordings. I tried 3 different cameras in case it was faulty with same results.
The camera is projected to require a manual recharge once a month.
If I was to do it over again, I'd get the other eufy camera without solar that advertises 6 months of battery life on a single charge.

Thanks for your practical analysis. I am on the fence to get this as well, as the price - $70 a camera - seems just right.
If not this, which camera model are your planning to get?

Thanks a lot.
Probably Eufycam 2C (1080p) or S300 (4K). The main downside is it costs more if you don't have the base station already. It advertises 6 months of battery life on one charge.

Does S300 require hard wiring for power? Also does it require Home Base 3?
I would like to have at least 2K quality, and 4K is even better.
Thanks

I have this model I have had since last fall in my backyard. I only charged it myself once when I first installed it and have not had to charge it since.

So basically the solar charging seems to be enough.
How's the quality of pic.
Any Pros / Cons?
Thanks

got less alerts lately..used to be almost instant for half a ye. then going downhill. its still recorded on events but not on app.
the white led turned yellow just 5-6 months later. saw that complaints on reviews. they wouldnt honor that. as long as its not broken. they wouldnt replace it. thought it wouldnt happen to me. but it did. turned yellow too fast

This particular model (S220) does not have the white LED 'spotlight'. You might be thinking of the S230.
