Really, bought quite a lot apple from best buy "refurbished" which is a standard used and have never ever seen one with Apple care+. Most of them has battery around 90.

exactly. brought 3 open box laptops in last 2 years with 2 were excellent and one macbook pro was GS certified.
GS certified had crack on screen along with 3 inches deep scratch on outside.
Open box excellent laptop too have some scratch on the screen along with absolutely zero accessories. No even power adapter.
Then another one too had similar a bit of scratches without pen/or any accessories.

And service center was like "this is open box". okay, but this is open box excellent. i had better experience with open box fair in the past with multiple orders.

Had to order this 3 times before I received a "good" one. First one was actually a 13 inch. Second order was cancelled. Third one looks great and battery is at 98% with a cycle count of 68.

beware: I just bought a 2021 macbook pro m1 pro 14" last week and they shipped me a 2022 m2 macbook pro 13.3". I immediately drove to the store where they claimed they cannot accept the return because it is wrong item. They said I would have to ship it back to be returned. One of you might be buying that same one. fwiw, the macbooks condition was beautiful. like new

Mine was pretty good when it came in but had a very small dent on the outer shell, 88% battery life, and 2 small dots of damage in the middle of the display, I ended up returning it.
