Why should someone have to pay a subscription fee to reserve meds?

I only get mine every 3 months as it is.

Interesting it's not available in 4 states. I wonder why.

It's a flat rate $5 no matter how many medicines you get. The $5 covers the cost of the medicines and shipping. You don't pay anything extra on top of the monthly $5. Whether it's a good deal or not will come down to individual use cases. Someone who is on a lot of medicines that are $1-$5 at most pharmacies will come out ahead.

Your prime membership covers shipping that was one of it "benefits" 5 bucks covers the med cost. Just shows how over priced medications are when one of the nation's largest retailer gets involved and starts volume pricing them.

Too bad this doesn't cover pain meds or just about 900 other medicines but there's a list of 50 medicines it does cover that are usually free at Publix

And people are complaining even for just $5?!

It was at least a year ago. Don't think anything had changed. Despite the crapping in this thread, it saved a good deal of money for us.

Do your research on how many billions of dollars the drug manufacturers spend on R&D each year and the amount of time and money it costs to bring these drugs to market. The drug manufacturers deserve to make back that money and make some profit. If you squash their ability to recover that they will not innovate and develop new or better drugs.

Awww....poor fffin' drug companies. Lets give them a few billion more tax dollars and exempt them from liability. So when all that research is ignored to get the product to market and then kills & injures people we can excuse them because if they had to pay for their crimes against humanity they might not make more drugs to main and kill.

They deserve our contempt.

>Pharmaceutical companies receive substantial U.S. government assistance in the form of publicly funded basic research and tax breaks.

I confirmed that with a simple internet search. You can too.

But you can just buy that literally anywhere without a prescription, and a lot more than 30 at a time. Not a strong example. Doesn't diminish the value of the $5/month plan one bit though.
