So there are 3 types of these electric lighters:
1. The single arc low-power ones
2. the multiple arc low-power arcs - 2, 3, or even 4 arc ones.
3. the single arc high-power ones.

The single arc high power ones can light cigars and that's what you want to get. I have 3. They're windproof, mostly, one of my older one uses micro-usb but my newest one is usb-C. They also double as tiny tasers and do pack a hard punch and will scar you.

Unfortunately there are no major brands that sell them but I do see them on amazon and the chinesium websites. It'll also be cheaper there, like $15 or so.

An example type, not recommended to buy:
https://a.co/d/03TKYoEv

You'll see that the "arc" is wider and not as parabolic/curvy and is wider apart than the original "mini-arc" ones.

Edit:
The ones that I buy can light about 10-15 cigarillos, just not 10-15 at once as it'll overload and stop working until it cools down but this would be great for casual users. It usually lasts me about 2-3 months of use. The power indicator is not that accurate as once its down to 3 bars it'll go quickly down to 2 and thats when I usually charge.

Not very ergonomic unless you are a smoker. Plasma lighters have a very small arc compared to a flame lighter which requires you have to get right on top of whatever you are igniting. Cigarettes and cigars are fine. For lighting campfires, candles and barbecue grills etc where you have to reach in it can be awkward to manipulate and potentially (with gas) gangerous. Stick to the wand style plasma lighters for those uses.

Is that what kindling is for? Dryer lint is my personal go-to. I'd think this lighter would work very well it.

It takes micro usb so you should carry a cable around. I don't know how many times you can use it on one charge.
I'm eyeing the double torch lighter on the same listing:
Zippo 65827 Butane Lighter Insert - Double Torch, 1.4"L x 0.5"W x 2.1"Th https://a.co/d/0emPUTFw

If you have dryer lint, a hot fart will do. Otherwise, some lighters are better than others at starting fires.....

Yep. Just buy a real lighter fluid zippo and pass it down to your kids.

I have one of these. If you're trying to light a cigarette or cigar with it, you're gonna have a bad time.

Read complaints about Zippo's Butane inserts. I have two and they both suffer from not igniting consistently, regardless of how much Butane is in them and I am using Zippo's butane.

edit: yikes, it really does take micro usb lol

edit2: speaking of yikes and Zippo's products that aren't their original products, who wants a Zippo bit driver insert https://www.zippo.com/products/bi...ter-insert

I have both single and double torch. I suggest go with a single because it's more fuel efficient.
