Have owned one of these since 2015. Zero issues, works and tastes excellent, easy to clean, and the compact design is very functional. The glass carafe can actually hold 5.5 cups, a bit more than advertised.

Highly recommend.

In post pandemic society, drip coffee machines feel as old as VHS. It's still good coffee but pods and mini espresso machines are everywhere.
Pods are the worst- boiling water hits the plastic and mixes with your coffee- yuck for taste and health. You will not find pods for decent coffee- please don't even mention Starbucks- that is not decent coffee by a stretch.

It's crazy that the world has been shifting to be more environmentally friendly to the point of getting rid of plastic straws that at the same time single use plastic coffee pods have become so popular.
I've been using a Keurig for about a year now (only because a friend ended up with two and gifted me one).
I have the newest version from Costco and I'm ready to switch back to an old school drip coffee maker!
I've tried every brand of K Cup out there and am convinced that you never get a truly good cup of coffee from them.
And every time I've bought them I've felt guilty over how much plastic I've sent to landfills.

I've had this coffee maker for a couple of years, purchased after America's Test Kitchen tagged it as a Best Buy. It's fantastic - easy to brew/clean and makes a delicious cup of coffee. If you've been stuck in Keurig-land, do yourself a favor and make coffee that doesn't taste like crap.

I do wish it had an 8-cup capacity, as well as an automatic timer. But other than that, it's a 10/10.

My bonavita BV1902DW just died yesterday (heating element failed) after about 7 years. I'm looking to replace with another good drip brewer. I'm usually the only coffee drinker in the house, and I fill a 20oz thermos for the day before leaving for work in the morning. I do have company sometimes that drinks coffee, so the ability to brew 6-8 cups is helpful. It's a counterspace/size tradeoff. Considering this, though.
