This knife gets great reviews. $45 for an dura lock with bearings and a 3.5" D2 steel is a decent price.

It won Best Buy at last year's Blade show at full price. It seems the knife community disagrees with you.

It would be great if it had a premium steel but the price would increase accordingly. Maybe they will have a run with Magnacut in the future.

The action is also much smoother than either of my Benchmades. For the price this is hard to beat

CCC shows it as an all time low. It seems the only way you can get it for slightly less is at Chicago Knife Works but it would not meet the free shipping minimum - with the 10% new customer discount without tax.

The other day I saw a listing where the boxed version is not shipped to CA but the clamshell packaged one of the exact same knife is, but of course the boxed one is cheaper. Amazon is disorganized to say the least.

This is a great knife. I will be picking up a spare.

They recently released a smaller version with blue handles. I am hoping that colorway makes it to the full sized version, really looks good.

Smooth action or not, $45 for a D2 blade is not a great deal. This is a $30 knife with a brand name markup.

This price, even on sale, seems too high. You can get some decent deals on D2 knives at Petrified Fish https://www.pfedc.com/ even when they are not on sale.

I have a Petrified Fish Grow and Twigshark which were on sale for $35 and $39 when bought. Somewhat disappointing even at those prices and action and ergos are crap in comparison to the Iridium.

PF is one of the lower price brands I had high hopes for but was let down. The other one was Bestechman whose axis type lock is good but button lock was very sticky.

Not comparing quality but, as a contractor I'm used to having a little pocket knife with me, always. So, as much as I loose them, break them, forget to take it "out" of my pocket before going into the airport (so have to surrender it), etc ... I've chosen to just have the WMart $4 one with me. Stick Out Tongue (In the camping section)
